Advice please?

Ok, so Parker is almost 16 months old. He loves going into nursery, but he's not quite 18 months. Chad is over nursery and primary as 2nd counselor in the bishopbric and so he takes Parker in there with him whenever he goes into help or check in on them. The nursery has close to 20 kids in there and I feel kind of bad just sending parker in there when he's not quite 18 months. Is it wrong to send him in there early? I guess I have a hard time contemplating that people will offer to take this crazy busy child and watch him for me for FREE while I go sit peacefully in a class and learn. It kind of boggles my mind.

spray paint your yard.... it's the new thing!!

So we decided to just spray paint the yard instead of purchasing grass!!! Great hu? No, I'm kidding. But it really looks like that doesn't it? this is our house (now our rental) that is having hydro-seed sprayed onto it. It is basically grass seed that is attached to a wood fiber with just water. It's alot less expensive then sod and grows in really very well. It just takes a few weeks extra to grow and then you have grass! The picture above is the front of the house and the driveway.
here is the side of the house you can see where the fence will go, that is not quite finished but the posts are all set in.
here's the back of the house

this is the wood fiber that gets pumped into this big hose with water and then sprayed onto the yard. I thought it was really interesting to see how it all worked.
It was sad to say good bye to this home. We worked so hard on it. We added 2 huge rooms did new siding, new trim, new walls, new paint inside and out, new carpet, new plumbing, new electrical, new dry wall, new fixtures, new bathrooms and everything in them, new everything. You name it and it's new. So it's hard to leave. But after 2 years it's also good to move on and have a new start. And we are even lucky enough to keep the home as a rental.

Handyman

This is our little handyman in the making... Yes the plungers are sanitized and haven't really ever been used. There was one in the new place when we got here and we also brought one with us. They are parker's favorite toys to play with. he just loves anything that is a long stick... fly swatters are another favorite! he looked ready to go with the overalls on too!

We moved!!!!

(A little pillow project I did this last weekend! I made about 6 pillows and 3 pillow cases for our bedroom.)

It's been a little crazy lately and we finally decided to move. We put our house up for rent and found a renter that we are really excited about. It is a company that finds places for partially handicapped people. The company provides a full time staff to be there with them to cook and clean. And the also take care of the yard with their landscaping company, and they clean the carpets and take good care of the home. They usually stay for a while when they find a place they like. They have to keep the place clean because if the government (who helps pay the rent) comes and finds it unclean, or inappropriate to live in then their company could shut down. And they don't need the shed storage so we get to use it still! We are really excited about it because we know we will get paid the rent, we know they will take care of it, and we may not have to find new renters for a long time because they could stay there for 10 plus years! It all worked out and we found a duplex that is just down the street in the same ward so chad can still be in the bishopric and I can stay in Young Women's. And the duplex has no contract so we can leave if we need to and find work somewhere else. It really is amazing how the Lord answers prayers. We prayed to find a way if we were supposed to stay in this area a little longer, and the Lord provided a way. So I guess we are meant to be here a little while longer.... just in a different home so we can get back on our feet and not worry about such a large mortgage.

So that is what happened. We are so lucky to be in this little duplex here are the few pictures I have of the front room and kitchen area. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a deck, a laundry room, and backyard. it's the upper level of the building.

Crash!!!

Parker had a big crash the other day down the stairs outside on the cement. He refuses to turn around and back down stairs, he just wants to walk down them like mommy and daddy do. So he had some big scabs for a while. the next picture was taken a week after it happened. Then the day that the scab finally healed and fell off....he did it again. Another open wound right on top of where the other one was on his head!! I think this is a sign telling me that we need good insurance for emergency room calls.... gotta love boys!!!
